Keeping track of visits to VRROOM

The National Archives of Australia makes a record of your visit to VRROOM and logs the following information about your visit for statistical purposes:

  • server address
  • top-level domain name (.com, .gov, .au, .uk, etc.)
  • date and time of your visit
  • pages accessed
  • documents downloaded
  • the site you came from
  • browser.

No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities, except in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law-enforcement agency may exercise its authority to inspect the service provider's logs.

What we do with your information

The National Archives uses your user name, password, email address and other personal information only for the purposes of enabling your access to VRROOM and sending you information about VRROOM if you have requested it.

The National Archives will not use your personal information for any other purpose, and we will not disclose it without your consent.
