Notes: Gundaroo is a small town in the southern tablelands of New South Wales, about 40 kilometres north of Canberra. The fertile valley surrounding the town has been used for grazing sheep since 1825. From a district with a population of several hundred, 33 men from Gundaroo enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force (AIF) during World War I.
